By creating an account or using DealAgent ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
DealAgent is a financial tools platform that helps users track bills, categorize expenses, identify potential savings, estimate taxes, and manage subscriptions. The Service connects to your bank accounts via Plaid to automatically detect and analyze financial data.
DealAgent provides informational tools only. We are not a financial institution, bank, money transmitter, tax preparer, financial advisor, investment advisor, insurance broker, or licensed professional of any kind.
You must be at least 18 years old to use DealAgent. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 and that the information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
DealAgent offers a free tier with limited features and a Pro subscription with full access. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly ($9.99/month) or annually ($79/year) through Stripe. All prices are in USD.
By connecting your bank account through Plaid, you authorize DealAgent to access your transaction data for expense tracking and categorization. We receive read-only access to your transactions — we cannot move money, make payments, or modify your accounts. You can revoke access to any connected account at any time from your Settings page.
DealAgent does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice. All savings estimates, expense analyses, and financial summaries are for informational purposes only. You should consult qualified professionals before making financial decisions based on information provided by DealAgent.
Savings estimates, market comparisons, and negotiation scripts are approximations based on publicly available data and AI analysis. We do not guarantee any specific savings amount. Actual results depend on your provider, account history, market conditions, and negotiation outcomes.
The Tax Hub feature provides estimated quarterly tax amounts and IRS category mappings for planning purposes only. These are rough estimates based on your tracked expenses and a default tax rate. DealAgent is not a licensed tax preparer or CPA. Do not rely solely on DealAgent for tax filing — always consult a qualified tax professional. We are not liable for penalties, interest, or additional taxes resulting from reliance on our estimates.
Automatic expense categorization (including IRS Schedule C line item mapping) is performed by algorithms and AI. While we strive for accuracy, categorizations may be incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all expense categories, especially for tax-related purposes.
Reports, negotiation scripts, savings analysis, and AI chat responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors or inaccuracies. AI-generated content should be reviewed and verified before use. We are not responsible for outcomes resulting from the use of AI-generated content.
DealAgent is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DealAgent and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DealAgent and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

You may delete your account at any time from your Settings page. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive, fraudulent, or illegal behavior.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from or relating to the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
